10 year old vacation, last day

Today was the last day of my 10 year old vacation!  I didn't want it to end.  I woke up at 9:00, again.  Then we hurried down stairs so that we wouldn't miss breakfast.  I ate a huge waffle, a bowl of cereal a danish and some apple juice.  Then we went back to our room packed every thing and went to go bird watching!  First we had lunch.  We had Jimmy Johns again, and I had the same sub.  Then we went bird watching.  When we went to Shcaar's Bluff we didn't even see any raptors that we were hoping to see! We saw a baltimore oriole, an egret, a robin, a red winged black bird, a dead barn swallow and a dead fish.  After a failed attempt we went to dairy queen and had some ice cream.  Then we went back home.

10 year old vacation day #3

Today was AWESOME!  We went to Valley Fair!  But I'm not at that part yet so, to the beginning of the day!  I woke up at about 9:00 and had to hurry to get breakfast because it ends at 9:30.  So I got my clothes on and zoomed downstairs.  I had 4 danishes, a bowl of cereal and some apple juice.  Then we drove directly to Valley Fair.  We went on lots of roller coasters!  But not that many tall or fast one's because of the two other people who were there with me.  My favorite one was called, the Wave!  You went up, up, up, up, up, up, up, turned the corner and plummeted down towards the water.  You hit the water and WOOSH!  You got soaking wet.  There wasn't a part of you that didn't get wet!  The splash it made flew about 30 feet and was 15 feet wide.  I dragged Grandpa into that one 4 times!  We were drowned rats!  I also liked the go-kart racing.I beat 2 teenage guys by about 15 seconds.  The course was about a half mile!  For lunch we had a funnel cake and a hamburger.  We stayed at Valley Fair for 6 hours!  We left Valley Fair at 5:30 and went to Punch Pizza to eat dinner.  We got back at the hotel at about 7:00 and collapsed on the couch, exhausted.  After resting me and Grandpa went to the pool at 9:30 and left at 10:30.  Then we went to bed.  

10 year old vacation day #2

Today was really fun!  I slept until about 8:45.  That was only because Grandpa woke me up.  After I got ready for the day we had some free breakfast at the hotel.  Boy did I have a feast!  I had, a big omelet, a bowl of cereal, a danish, 2 pieces of french toast, some sausage and some apple juice.  After my feast we went to target.  Why?  Because Grandpa dropped the camera yesterday!  We got a slick new red camera! It looked cool!  Then we went to the Raptor Center located at the University of Minnesota.   IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They showed us some animals that they rehabilitated. Sadly none of the raptors will be able to go back to the wild ever again.  They showed us 5 bald eagles, a turkey vulture, 2 immature bald eagles, a peregrine falcon, 2 american kestrels, a barred owl, a great gray owl, a merlin, and a northern harrier.  Then Grandma and Grandpa got me a stuffed turkey vulture!  I named him Nero the Birdbrain.  Nero because, the turkey vulture we saw was named Nero.  So then we went to this place called, Jimmy Johns which served sub's.  They had really good one's to!  After that we finally went to Fort Snelling!  My favorite parts of Fort Snelling were when the soldiers shot their guns and canon, and when we got to watch the black smith make a nail.  Then we went to Lilli Put again.  We played go-karts which I beat Grandpa and Grandma in.  I double lapped them!  Then we did bumper boats in which Grandma hit me into a fake cave that sprayed water on me.  And finally we did put put golf.  I got last place and Grandpa got first.  Then we went to eat dinner at Smash Burger!  Then we went back to the hotel and swam until about 10:30.  Then I went to sleep.

10 year old vacation

On June 25'th 2012 I get to go on my 10 year old vacation with Grandma and Grandpa.  So we woke up at home, ate breakfast, got our suitcases ready and headed out.  They told me a little bit about the plan for the day.  They told me the bare minimum but it was just enough to last me a day.  So we headed over to Fort Selling!  We got some great pictures!  On the way there we saw a Turkey Vulture, 7 Cedar Waxwings on one branch and a cardinal. While we were heading over to go to the inside a person told us that it was closed today.  Great what were we going to do?!  Well you just have to be flexible!  We decided to put Fort Snelling off for tomorrow and do a little bit of what we were going to do tomorrow, today.So with me having no idea of what the plan was I put my trust into them for getting me to wherever we were going safely. So we got to this place called Lilli Putt where they do go-cart racing, bumper boating and put put golf.  We did 2 laps around the go-cart track which I beat Grandpa in and went back to the car.  Then we ate lunch at a place called 50's Diner.  And yes, it was very 50's.  For the rest of the day I had some crazy music in my head!  I ordered a bacon and cheddar cheese burger.  It was really dry but let me tell you, the milkshake was AWESOME!  After lunch we went to check in to the hotel.  After un-loading the car we went swimming.  After drying off we went to the exercising room.  That was fun.  Then we hopped in the car again and sped off to target to get some snacks to eat.  After target we went to the target field by a taxi.  Grandpa kept on reminding Grandma not to drop the camera.  Guess what?  Grandpa dropped my camera!  Clumsy Grandpa!  After that we had some ball park hotdogs and cotton candy.  The Minnesota Twins beat the Chicago White Sox! 4-1.  The Twins are the worst ranking team and the White Sox were the best!  I guess my wished luck upon them worked! :)  Then we went home by the shuttle at 11:46 pm.And then.......  I wrote my blog!     END OF DAY 1!

Last Day of Schooooool!!!!!

YYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Today was the last day of school!  I still can't believe it's Summer!  I miss my teacher and classmates and friends already! Hope you have a good Summer!

3 on 3 league

This Summer I'm starting a 3 on 3 league!  Dad's my coach!  I think we'll do good.  Max and Luke are on my team to.  Their different Max and Luke's.  I'm not friends with them.  Although I do wish the my friend Max and my friend Luke were on my team.

Luke

I have another friend.  Yes, I said another one. I hope he'll be a friend forever but hey, I wish every dude was like that.  He's really fast because he takes track but he's short.  You don't see a smaller kid ask some tall kids if they want to race every day.  That kid has rockets for legs.  He gave me some tips on running that make me a little faster so....  Do you want to race me?

PIzza with teacher

When we took our 50 states test our teacher, Mrs. Molitor said that if we get zero or one or two wrong we might get a pizza party with he and her son, Matt.  I got one wrong so I got the pizza party along with, Ethan, Tommy, Ella, Emerson, Luke, Lauren,  and Souraya.  Then Matt played kickball with the 4'th graders and I was on Matt's team.  I think he's 6 feet something inches but holy guacamole!  Matt was tall and very good at kickball.
