Connecticut Trip!

Last week Mom, Gavin, Chloe and I went on a trip to Connecticut.  The first day, we woke up at 4:30, ate breakfast and left at 5:00.  We spent 11 hours driving.  Thankfully we had some good tapes and I had two new books to read.  Finally after a really lllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg day of driving we finally got to our first stop- a hotel in Ohio.  We got our stuff in there, ate at an Asian  restaurant and got in the pool.  Then we went to bed.  The next day after waking up at 5:00, eating a nice big breakfast and getting out of the hotel we finally got in the car and had another 11 hour trip.   But we had a nice destination to reach.  Our cousin's house.  As soon as we got there we swam in the pool which had a diving board!  The our Aunt Jan came home and we had some pizza.  We got to bed after that and I had a long line of zzzzz's.  The next day we went and saw our Bapchie.  She had a heart attack recently and the whole reason we came to connecticut was to see her.  She was doing okay but still in the hospital and she had to have a mask on to help her breathing.  Then me and my cousin Jack played some basketball.  I beat him 18 to 20.  Then we went swimming.  We swam for about 3 hours.  then....... I forgot what we did after that but I think it was important! :)  Later we got some ice-cream at Friendlys.  Then we went up to see Jadzui.  Thankfully he wasn't in his Alzheimer's mind set then.  We played tag with Grandpa and we were off to our cousin's house again.  After watching American Ninja Warrior we went to bed.  The next morning we went and saw Bapchie again.  Then we came home and me and Jack played basketball again.  He beat me this time, 18 to 20!  Same score as last time except he beat me! :)  Then we swam again.  After eating dinner at a not so good restaurant and playing foosball with Jack, we went to bed.  The third day of our trip we woke up and saw Bapchie again.  Then we had lunch at an AWESOME pizza place called Pepe's Pizza.  Then we went to the Modern Bakery, got some conoli's and went to Aunt Paula's house.  We swam some then ate and left.  We got back to the house and went to bed.  Me and Jack woke up to play basketball at 6:00 to play the tie-braker.  He won 18 to 20. :)  Then we left.  It was supposed to only be a 7 and a half hour trip but Mom accidentally made the wrong turn and we ended up driving 12 and a half hour trip.  We were all tired and after swimmin and sitting in hot tub we all watched food network star and went to bed.  The next day we only drove 4 hours to our Nana's house.  We spent all day there and then went to bed.  We woke up early and drove 11 hours home.  Whew!  We were finally home. :)
