Grandpa's last day of work!

Today is Grandpa's last day of work!  He's retiring.  I hope he had a good last day of work and I hope that he enjoy's every minute when he's retired. :)  I think that Grandpa's age is a perfect age to retire and he has plenty of years to have fun!

Mom's Birthday!

Tomorrow is Mom's Birthday!  She's turning 40!  Four decades old!  Happy day before your birthday to you!  Happy day before your birthday to you!  Happy day before your birthday dear MOM!  Happy day before your birthday to you!!!!!

Angel

A few weeks ago and today, Angel was doing the craziest thing!  I gave her these plastic balls a while back and she has never played with them before until those days!  The balls are about twice the sie of her head and she picked them up and started throwing them around!  Crazy Angel! :)

Awesome Explosions!

Today in school we went to the U of M! (University of Minnesota)  It was really awesome despite the total of a two hour trip there and back!  They had like 5 or 6 different explosions that that they showed us and lit a bunch of things on fire!  I would like to have that job.  My 3 favorite explosion things were...

1.  He set a long counter on fire about 5 feet up in the air and then made a balloon blow up because of that.

2.  He got a laser pointer and aimed it at some hydrogen or something and made an explosion that was something you would see in a movie.

3.  Got a water bottle with about 3 drops of alcohol in it, lit it on fire and it shot across a huge room!


      

The Rangers Apprentice

I'm reading an awesome book series right now!  I think it has like, 10 or 11 books or somethings like that and it is AWESOME!  It's called, The Rangers Apprentice and I'm really enjoying the series.  I'm already on book two and I started in 2 days ago.  Well, I hope the book (s) your reading are as good as mine!

Dancing

Today for specialist we folk danced.  It was really strange weird and awkward because we had to do it with girls.  I' not saying girls are bad- just that I've never danced with anyone especially strangers.  And I'm only in 5'th grade!

Labels

Today in library we got some labels and had to answer questions on them like; how many grams on fiber does this have?  How many grams of protein?  How many grams of fat?  What is the serving size?  How many serving sizes per container?  And we had to answer questions like that for four labels!  It was really fun!

Angel's Trick Practices

Today I am going to start training Angel.  She already knows that when I push her belly she hops up on my finger but lately she hasn't been doing that.  So, I'm going to kind of re-teach that to her and other things!  It will be fun!

Superheroes

Today in art class we got to draw some superheroes.  I think I did a pretty good spider-man!  It was fun trying to make it as realistic as possible!  Pretty soon we will make up our own super heroes and than draw them!  That will be more fun!

THERE IS A YUGIOH CARD MAKING WEBSITE!  It's so cool!  I am going to try to make some cards!  It wil be really fun.  Can't wait to try it out!

Under the Blood-Red Sun.

I'm reading a book right now which is title of this blog.  It's about a Japanese kid who goes through the bombing of Pearl Harbor.  He has a white friend called Billy and two Portuguese friends named Rico and Mose.  Also some more people and together they named themselves the Rats.  Every one is loyal to each-other despite their differences.

Mystery Powders

In science a few weeks ago we started doing a thing called "mystery powders".  My teacher mixed up some powders and we had to do tests on them to figure out which ones they were.  Some of the tests we did on them were; iodine, water, vinegar, and heat.  It was really fun!  The powders turned out to be, salt, sugar, baking soda, corn starch and Plaster of Paris.

Gentle Ben

Recently, Mom and me have been reading a book called, "Gentle Ben".  Mark finds a grizzly bear and has a special relationship with him.  But he doesn't own him yet.  His real owner keeps him locked up in a messy dirty cold shed and hardly ever feeds him.  That owner was going to shoot him but before he can his parents buy Ben from the owner.  Ben and Mark have a great time and the book is very interesting but if you want to know more, you'll have to read it yourself.
