Christmas Break

Finally!  Christmas Break!  We had to go to school today which flabbergasted me.  Everyone was so hyper at school, you wouldn't believe it.  It was like we were all a bunch of hyper chipmunks who had way too much coffee.  I got a couple of candy canes throughout the day, so that might have offset having to go to school.  We didn't have any homework, thankfully, because if we did then the school system would be officially pathetic.  (:  Anyways, it's Christmas Break, so I get to sleep in, ski, eat a lot of dessert, celebrate Christmas, celebrate New Year's, and try not to get s sugar induced coma.

After School Basketball

I am on extra basketball team for my school.  We play and practice after school and my team is doing really good.  We are the only undefeated team, which is awesome!  We have had two close games, one today and the other one a couple of weeks ago.  We won by a single layup which I made at the end of the first close game, then the game today was way too close for my liking.  We had a ten point lead on them to start out, by then they started making a comeback and tied it up with about 10 minutes left.  They actually even took the lead.  But then we had a couple of steals for fast breaks that we took the lead back on.  We ended up beating them by about 10 but they worried me for a while there.

Dad's Birthday

Happy Birthday Dad!  Can't wait to see you when you come home from work today!  Mom finished the amazing chocolate cake so we have to finish the whole thing tonight.  (:  Hopefully.  I am so glad you are my Dad instead some lame old guy who is boring and rude.  Life would suck if you weren't in it so I'm super thankful that you are.  I mean, you haven't invented the cure for cancer or anything, but your the best Dad ever, and one of the best human beings on the planet ever, so that is all that counts!  And who knows, maybe you will invent a cure for cancer?  (: Happy Birthday!

Home Tournament.

So we finally have our Farmington Basketball Tournament this year!  Every one is super excited on my team.  The varsity coach might be watching some of our games so no pressure.  (:  Also, my youth Pastor at my church might be coming too so he can pray that I can dunk.  (:  We play the winner of Cottage Grove (I have no clue if they are good or not) and Eastview (I think they a really good) for our first game.  All I know is, basketball is fun and if I like playing basketball, then I will probably do good at it.  Forget all the pressure or anything like that, just go out there and kick butt.
