Swearing

People at school think that swearing is cool.  In my opinion, swearing makes you look like and ignorant, stupid, idiot who doesn't have parents that teach them not to.  No offense if you are one of those kids, but hey, I am just telling the truth.  Sometimes they just swear with no reason to like,

"I have a lot of &;&&:$>}%}* homework!"  And kids would laugh at that.  Or, "You >~€{*=]€€~€~€|^{# I am hungry!"  That is just plain stupid.

Shorts

Today, Mom surprised me by buying new slicks/basketball shorts!  It was so nice and unexpected.  They are so cool, and represent Faemignton's colors; orange, white and black.  I will wear them all day today and probably Monday too!  (:

Angel's Birthday

It was Angel's birthday.   I am going to play with her a lot today!  (:  She is the cutest little bird ever!  She sometimes doesn't act like her namesake, but I still love her.  I have always loved her!  I was sick the day it was her birthday so I didn't get to play with her, and now, she going to get a TON of attention!  (:

Kung Fu

This summer I am going to be doing some Kug Fu!  It is going to be awesome!  I will finally be able to show Gavin some moves he doesn't know!  (:  Also, it will help with basketball because I will be stronger and stuff.  I can't wait.

Form and Dribbling

This summer, I am going to be working on my basketball form.  Already, from just playing outside lately, I have really good form, as in shooting like Pro's from above the head.  Also, since I WILL make the A-team next year, because of my form, I also need to work on my dribbling.  I can't wait until I can practice outside everyday!  (:

Duke V.S. Mercer

Duke, lost against Mercer!  In the fire round!  A number fourteen seed beating a number three seed!  That is stupid!  I had Duke going to the final four!  And my Dad had them winning the whole thing!  I would never have thought that Duke would lose to Mercer.

Warm Weather

It is 42 degrees outside!  It is so nice!  I am going to play basketball outside forever, in short-sleeves!  (: I actually took my jacket off on the way home from school today!  I also rolled down my bus' window!  I love warm weather!

March Madness Bracket

FINALLY!

Finally, Spring is coming!  The snow is melting and I can play basketball outside again!  Ahh.  (:  And it also means... MARCH MADDNESS!  Yeah!  Awesome!  I think that Florida will actually win the whole NCAAM Tournament!  Watch and you'll be surprised!  (:

My Basketball Hoop

So apparently, we might have to take down our basketball hoop.  It is pretty upsetting.  So a city worker's wife might was driving a car up our hill (I don't know if it was or was not her but mom and dad say it might have been her) and since there was still snow on the ground, but warm enough for me to play basketball outside, I saw the car coming and when I tried to grab the ball, it slipped and bounced off a snow bank and hit the tire of her car.  She was speeding and going really fast though, so I didn't have much time to see her coming and actually have time to prepare to hold the ball.  So us and two other people with basketball hoops in the street might have to put our hoops away.  It really sucks.  But hey, I don't know her side of the story, like if her kid was hurt or whatever and she had to go fast to get home to help him.  I don't know but, I know that if I have a say in it, the hoop will definitely not go down!

50 On the Back of My Head

So last night, Mom cut my hair and also she made a 50 on the back of my head for State Tournament!  It is really cool!  Mom is going to color it orange for the games too!  Everyone was commenting on how awesome I looked, (just kidding, everyone already knows how awesome I am :))  or at least the 50 looked, and my friends were tracing it all day!  We also got early release today!  The day went by really fast!

Spring Break

I can't wait until Spring Break!  We get a whole week and some more off!  Hopefully, the snow will melt too so then I can FINALLY go outside and play basketball again!  (:  We have early release tomorrow and we get Friday off!  It will be awesome.  Here is a poem about Spring Break.

Sate Tournament

My State Tournament is coming up this weekend!  I am really excited!  This is our last tournament, and tonight is our last practice as far as the coaches, my teammates and I know.  Jackson told me (he is the three-point friend of mine, and he always knows everything about our practice, like where it is, what time, how many we have this week and he also STUDIES the brackets for our tournaments!) that all we have to do is to just beat the first team we play, and they are easy.  Then if we win that, we can play on a court where before the game while you are warming up, they play some theme music, and then when the game starts they announce who you are and your number just like in NBA and college!  It will be so awesome to be acting like a pro basketball player!  :)

Homework

We have a lot of homework for school everyday!  We usually have homework for, math, social studies, language, and reading.  Sometimes we have it in science too, but not as much.  In science though, we do have a lot of quizzes.  I like the feeling of being more responsible, but sometimes, I think that there is too much homework.  I am okay with big projects and stuff like that, but for math almost everyday, we have homework, and it is almost always graded.  The thing is, some of the math homework is just for nine or eight or ten or something points, so if you get like an eight out of ten, and seven out of nine and five out of eight, those are pretty okay and good scores, but when you add them all up together, it makes a big difference in your grade.  It is really annoying.
