Valleyfair

On Wednesday, All of 5th grade at my school went to Valleyfair!  Me and Ethan were partners in every we went on!  We had a lot of fun!  My favorite ride was called Steel Venom.  IT WAS AWESOME AND SCARY AND FUN!  I yelled the whole way on it and I didn't wave my hands in the air like some people do when they are on a ride that could kill them! :)  Also my second favorite ride was called The Wild Thing. They take your picture in a dark tunnel going about 70 mph.  I looked like and idiot in my picture while Ethan actually knew that they were going to take a picture and smiled.  :)  

My First Phone!

Last Thursday I got a phone!!!!!!!!!  It was my Mom's old red one, but it was a phone and it was AWESOME!  Every day I wake up and remind myself that I actually have a phone!  I remember when Gavin got his first phone and I was so jealous.  Now that I have a phone I feel older and more responsible.  Having a phone is so cool!

Camp Pepin

For the past three days ( including today) my school, my Dad and I all went on a field trip to Camp Pepin!  It is in Wisconsin and is right along the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, near Pepin Wisconsin.  We each got assigned to bunks and cabins and guess what?  Me and Henry were on the same bus there and back together and we were bunk mates, and we were partners in everything!  We became better friends then we already were.  Camp Pepin was awesome!  We played basketball, dodgeball, kickball, rock wall climbing, carpet ball, fishing and more!  The food was great and after every meal we got to sing a song.  My favorite was this,

It's a really catchy song!  The first night at Camp Pepin though, I didn't sleep good because the other people in my cabin would not quiet down!!!!!  The second night at Camp Pepin though, I slept good because me Henry and I gave them a warning that if they didn't quiet down we would tell the teachers to tell them to stop. :)  All the kids thought that my Dad was awesome because he could kick the ball way, way past the outfield.  He would get a homerun every single time.  I already knew my Dad was awesome though. :) 

Soccer

Soccer at my school is really hard!  They don't count handballs or anything and there isn't any fouls or penalties or whatever.  But it is still really fun to play!  Except when you get hurt.  And I get hurt a lot!  Yesterday I was playing soccer and I got kicked in the face twice, accidentally tripped once and I fell down a lot!  But I always get back up again so that makes it still fun for me.

Roller Blading Hardships Part 2

So yesterday, I had to go Roller Blading again.  With the same 1st grade person.  So after I got Gunnar all ready, I was finally ready to skate again.  But before I could get any of my stuff another 1st grader who didn't have anyone to help him asked me to get him his Roller Blades and pads and stuff on. :(  So after I got the second 1st grader ready I was finally ready to get my own stuff.  So I got my Roller Blades on and stuff and here is the best part.... One was for my right foot and one was for my left!  But they were 3 sizes too small.  I didn't care, I went Roller Blading!  Until my 1st grade kids ran over and asked me to help them skate.   WWWWHHHYYY MMMEEEE!!!!!!!

Roller Blading Hardships Part 1

Yesterday in P/E we Roller Bladed.  Now you probably think that it is fun but let me tell you something- it's not!!!!  It isn't because you had to help a 1st grader before you could get your stuff!  So I had to help a 1st grader named, Gunnar.  He didn't know how to skate and I was supposed to help him.  There is only one problem with that though- I don't know how to skate.  So after I got his elbow pads and knee pads and Roller Blades on I tried to get me some.  After a while I was ready to skate!  I had 2 right footed Roller Blades on and one was size 8 and the other was size 5.  My helmet didn't fit and my knee and elbow pads weren't the same color.  What a hard day! :)

Some Facts

Today I learned 2 cool facts!  Did you know that there is this one planet that is 22 million years away. (6 lightyears.)  It has a star it orbits around and is like Earth.  People can live on that planet but they will not probably ever be able to because it is so long away.

I have 2 facts for you about George Washington that you probably didn't know before.

1.  5 other states became part of the U.S.A while he was President.

2.  He didn't want to be Democratic or Republican.

I probably would have more facts but you probably already know all of them so I could only say a few so that you could learn something.

Mom's Mission Trip

Mom is going to go on a Mission Trip to Haiti in a couple weeks!  It's going to be really fun for her I hope!  Me, Gavin, Chloe and Dad will have a week without Mom and we might just all die because Mom isn't going to be there. :)  Just kidding.  But it will be hard to go a whole week without Mom!!!!!!!!!

Summer and Middle School

I can't wait until Summer!  5th Grade has been pretty good and we are going to Camp Pepin and Valley Fair and all, but I really can't wait for Middle School!  Gavin comes home every day and says all these things he learns every day while I really have to rack my brain for things to learn.  I can't wait to go to Middle School!

Coffee

Did you know that the average person in China drinks about 5 cups of coffee a year.  The average american drinks about 5 cups of coffee a day.  So now the Starbucks in China are looking at the stock market and decided to make green tea coffee's in China so that people will buy more.

Cubing Things

Today and yesterday and last night I have been learning how to cube things!  It's really cool and it's fun too.  I'll give you an example......sorry there isn't any button that has the cubing symbol on it so I won't be able to show you.  But I can tell you one thing, I know how to cube any number with an answer 0-12.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

I dedicate this blog to Grandpa!  Is is turning 65 today!  He's lucky he left before his birthday or he would have experienced great pain by having 325 spankings!  Thats a lot!  If we multiplied his age by 5 he would be 325 years old!  He might be 65 but he acts like he is 45 or 50 or something!  I love my grandpa!
