Grayson or Angel?

I'm about to get a new bird!  I already know what I'm going to name him.  If he is white I will call him Angel.  If he is blue I will call him Grayson in memory of my old friend in Texas that I'm about to go visit.

Two books in two days

Over the weekend I read two 400 page books.  I started one on Saturday and finished it Saturday.  I started one Sunday and finished it Sunday.  I'll give you a summary about the books.  Well in number one
the littlest of the mutent kids got kidnapped.  The kids all have wings and superpowers and the main-character, Maximum, and her friends go rescue her.  And someone from her childhood tries to kidnapp her but can't.  The enemy are these other mutants which are part wolf part human try and kill them but they can't but soon Maximum realized that she has a tracking device in her so they go on the run..........

What I learned today.......

Today I learned what an epiphyte is.  An epiphyte is a type of plant in the rain forest that grows way up high in trees.  Also epiphytes don't need water!  Well they need a tad bit but not  much.

What I learned today........

Today I learned how to do a jab-step.  It's one of those awesome moves in basketball.  So you jab your foot to the way your opponent is facing and then jab with the same foot (otherwise it would be a travel) and so then your opponent is guarding your back.  Not your front.

What I learned today.....

Today I learned that a certain type of vine in the rain forest can wrap it's self around another tree killing it!    
   Here's how it works.  1.  It startes as a small plant on a tree.  2.  It gets much older.  3.  It get's oxygen from the air and at the same time pulls it's roots farther to the ground.  4.  Once it goes into the grouns it becomes bigger!  5.  It then wraps it's self around the tree stealing it's place in the forest.

In the year of ten it has been hard and fun and saddening.  I'v learned so much and have a new look on people.  It is like when I see someone I already love them. It's weird!  I'v learned to be more responsible and thinking of others before my self.  And much more.  Yet it's been the happiest of my life.

African Drumming

Today at school there was a African drum concert!  A real African came and taught the 5'th grade how to play the african drums.  There was about ten songs and they were all the best.  The drum teacher would shout out african words and it would make the song much better.

What I learned today........

Today I learned that if you don't turn a cold shoulder to someone they can be nice back.  Mac-Aaron in my class used to be all like, "I'm so awesome!"  and stuff like that.  I could'v been mean to him but I was kind to him instead.  Now he has said that he could help me with something that I have trouble on and he's awesome at.  It just shows that if you don't turn a cold shoulder things
will happen.

Clouds

Today in science I learned what clouds are made out of.  Now your probably thinking, DUH!  Everyone knows that clouds are made out of water!  Well that is half right.  The water is actually ON things called dust particles.  You probably have heard of those.  Well you have also seen them.
When it is a sunny day and a ray of light is coming through your window you see some dust.  It actually is those dust particles.   

What I learned today........

Today I learned that if you have to much stuff and if your trying to look for something it will be hard to find.  If you have not so much stuff than it is easier to find.  The other day I was trying to look for a hat but I couldn't  find it.  So after I cleaned my room (after I wanted to where it) I found it.  it always happens when you don't want to where it. it.
